Privacy policy

Your inner life deserves careful handling.

This policy explains what Intua processes, why it is needed, and the controls available to you.

Updated September 14, 2026

Information you provide

Intua may store your account identifier and email, first name, birth date, local birth time, birthplace, birth-time confidence, tarot questions and cards, generated readings, text or voice conversation transcripts, reflections, and check-ins. Support requests contain the email address and message you submit.

How Intua uses it

We use this information to calculate your chart, personalize readings, preserve your Journey across devices, remember recurring themes when you enable that feature, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and keep the service reliable.

Safety checks and support

Questions, relevant conversation context, and proposed replies are sent to OpenAI for safety screening. This includes guest questions after you agree to the safety check. A flagged exchange is not added to Journey or long-term personalization. Temporary context may remain in memory while the page is open so a follow-up can be handled safely; it is not saved to your account. Earlier saved content is not automatically removed. Provider processing and retention follow the provider’s terms; this is not a promise of zero retention by OpenAI. Intua does not contact emergency services for you and is not monitored as a crisis service. Immediate support options are available without signing in.

AI and service providers

When you request a reading or conversation, Intua sends your question, selected cards, calculated astrology context, recent relevant Journey context, and any voice audio you choose to share to OpenAI to generate a response. Raw birth dates and birthplace text are used by Intua to calculate chart data and are not included in the reading prompt. Birthplace text is sent to Open-Meteo for geographic coordinates and timezone lookup. These providers process information under their own service and privacy terms.

Storage and security

Your profile and Journey are stored in an account database with account-level access controls. The web app also caches your Journey in this browser for recovery. The native app stores login credentials in the device's secure storage and loads readings from your account; unsaved changes can be lost if you close it before saving completes. Email authentication is handled by Supabase. OpenAI API credentials stay on Intua's server. We use encrypted transport and request limits, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Personal context and reminders

In Profile you can write, edit, or forget what you want Intua to remember. When memory is enabled, this context may be included in future AI requests. Forgetting it stops future use of that note; it does not rewrite existing readings or conversations. Reminders are optional: native reminders are scheduled on your device, and web reminders can be downloaded to your calendar. Their titles do not include your question or card names.

Beta invitations

If you join the mobile beta list, we store your email, preferred platform, and the time you agreed to receive an invitation. The form saves your interest; it does not send an invitation immediately. We use the list for beta availability and onboarding, not advertising. You can request removal through Support. We review and remove inactive beta entries after 12 months.

Reliability information

Intua records a small set of technical event names, such as a voice connection starting or failing, and elapsed time when available. These records are associated with your account to investigate reliability, but contain no question text, birth details, audio, or transcript. Records older than 30 days are removed when new reliability events are processed; inactive deployments may retain them until maintenance runs.

Sharing, advertising, and sale

Intua does not sell your personal information and does not use your readings for advertising. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate Intua, when you ask us to do so, or when required to protect users, the service, or comply with law.

Retention and deletion

Your account content is kept until you delete it or the service no longer needs it for the purposes described here. Deleting an individual reading removes its content and keeps a minimal identifier and deletion timestamp so another device cannot restore it. In Profile, choose Delete Intua data to remove your profile, readings, deletion markers, conversations, check-ins, and account-linked reliability events. This does not remove your external sign-in identity or a separately submitted beta/support request. See the account deletion guide.

Your choices

You can export your account data, edit your birth details, disable Journey pattern memory, reduce motion, stop or mute voice capture, withdraw microphone permission in your device settings, and delete your Intua data. Deleting your Intua data does not delete the external account you used to sign in.

Children

Intua is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to consent to data processing where you live.

Questions

Use the Intua support page for privacy questions or requests. We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve; material changes will be presented before they take effect.
